Vacation
Our vacation to Branson, MO was wonderful. The weather was crappy but we had a lot of fun anyways. It was great to see Dad and Mom and Wes's grandma sager. We haven't seen her in a very long time. Hopefully we don't have to wait so long to see her again. I know that she really enjoyed seeing Wesley. Oh, and us of course:-). I know that Wes really needed a vacation. And Wesley did so well. Unfortunately since he got held so much on vacation he expected that to continue when we got home. Now don't think I don't hold my son but usually he has some time to himself and he was held a lot. guess he is just to cute not to be held! Can't argue with that. we went to 3 shows where he did really well. Unfortunately by the 3rd one he was kinda tired of being so good and I had take him to the "mother's room". It was nice to be out of the house. I it was a lot easier to travel with an infant than I thought it would be. Yes you need a lot of stuff but we got a cartop carrier which made a easy to travel. Can't wait for our next vacation which will be going up to Michigan to visit my family and introduce them all to my son!!!

Wesley 4months old!
Tomorrow, Wesley will be 4 Months old! Unfortunately that comes with a dr's appt. And everyone has been telling me that shots will be involved! That is not going to be fun for mama and I can't imagine what it's going to be like for him. Poor little guy. I am excited though to find out how he is doing. If the dr thinks he is gaining too much weight and what he weighs now. I have been working on his baby book. Now all I have to do is print out some pictures to go along with it. I have made a file. Unfortunately now really sure how to use the new printer/scanner. Wes will figure it out for me. I hope! He is growing up so fast.

Motherhood
I love being a mom. It is definately the hardest job that I have every had. It is a 24/7 job but it is the most rewarding. To have my little boy look into my eyes and laugh and smile makes my day! And everything that I know of being a mom I have learned from my mom! She is the best. She is someone that I can call on anytime and ask her questions. And believe me I have many of them. She was there when I had Wesley and she stayed to help til after thanksgiving. And I appreciate that so much. I was lucky to be able to spend so much time with her. She worked as the secretary at our church and also the principal of my elementary school. Yes, I didn't get away with anything! And I tried! She always supported me. And I was not an easy child. She worked so hard to help me with my school work and I needed help!!! And now that I am a mom I know that there is so much that I can learn from her. I'm thankful that she is only a phone call away. (I have her on speed dial!!) Thanks, MOM!!!

All Aboubt Me!!
I have started this blog so I share what is going on in my life with my family and friends. FIrst let me tell you about my life. I was born in Sarnia, Canada on May 16th, 1978. I lived in the same house in Port Huron, Michigan til I was 20 years old. My dad's name is Rick, my mom's name is Cathie and I have 1 sister that is 3 years older than me, Shannon. I attended a Christian School til I was in 6th grade. I met my husband when I was 11 years old. But that is skipping ahead. I grew up loving sports. I was what many people would call a "tomboy". My sister and I loved softball. My dad used to take us in the backyard and toss the ball around with us. That was one of the highlights of my life was spending time like that with my dad. We played volleyball too. We have a strong family. Now back to when I met my husband. They started to attend our church when I was 11. My mother-in-law was my music teacher. I was the girl that "chased" him around the playground. I liked him so much. He on the other hand did not "like" me. But I "knew" that would change. When I was in the 8th grade and he was in the 11th. He decided that I wasn't that bad. So we "went out". By name only. We went to one movie. We "broke" up before I got into high school. Then when Wes graduated in 1994. He and his family moved to Kentucky. We stayed intouch through letters and phone calls. We "went out" off and on throughout my whole highschool life. My senior year we started talking about marriage! I visited him in Kentucky year and we went to look an engagement ring. I was pettrified. He came up to Michigan for my graduation in June of '97 and proposed to me 2 days after my graduation. After he went back to Kentucky we kept in touch until January 1998 when I received a phone call. He said "How would you feel if I moved up to Michigan!! He moved up January 30th, 1998. We were going to get married June 1999. But we decided to move the wedding up and we got married Oct 24th, 1998. Our wedding was beautiful. So many family and friends came out to celebrate with us. After living in 2 differents places in Michigan we decided to move to Kentucky in July, 2001! That was a very diffficult decision for us to move so far away from my family. But I knew that it was the right decision for us. We lived 2 places there before we moved to Tennessee in Dec. 2006. We found out we were expecting a baby on March 27th, 2010. That was the most wonderful news and the scariest news we have ever received We moved onem ap more time to a 3 bedroom apartment within the same complex since we were living in a 1 bedroom. My pregnancy went well. And on Nov 9th I had my last dr's appt. He sent me to the hospital at 5:00 that night cause my blood pressure was so high. I was in labor for 50 hours until on Thurs, November 11th, 2010 at 7:06 pm, my baby boy was born. Aunt Shannon flew down on the 9th and Grandma Martin came down. They allowed 2 people in the delivery room and Wes and my mom were my coaches. They were wonderful. After such a long and difficult labor it was wonderful to finally meet my son. Wesley Thomas Sager. He is such a blessing. We are finally complete family. I am so thankful for my husband and my son. I am truly blessed!
